Ran Boston Marathon course Newton Wellesley Hospital to Charlestown. Washington St was a mess of snow, ice and slush. First few miles on Comm Ave Carriage Road were icy and slushy. Had to stop and walk a few times. All fine upon turning onto Beacon at Cleveland Circle, and down to Mass Ave Bridge. |

Patches of ice near intersection of Hammond and also walnut street. |

Carriage road is in very good condition with the exception of one short block, but the rest was great. I made the mistake of starting at Woodland, though. Washington Street to Commonwealth is in extremely poor condition, forcing runners into the road. That part was dangerous and should be avoided until a thaw. |

intersections and the bottom of hills are a mess, just water not ice. the snow is melting which just makes for big puddles to jump over, all in all not bad. |
